Volunteers are valuable to our organization and ministry. Not only does volunteering allow you to function in your gift, talent and purpose, you also help Breath of Life Christian Center fulfill the vision given to our Pastor.

We know that as believers Jesus gave us gifts “to prepare God’s people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up” (Ephesians 4:12). Also, in Matthew 25 we hear the parable of the talents and know that if we must use our gift(s) or talent(s). Another point is that we each have a function in the body for it to work properly and grow (Ephesians 4:16). We must do our individual part for the body to be supplied, thus grow and function as God wants it to.

The Volunteer Center is designed to offer structured volunteer opportunities to Breath of Life Christian Center members who are willing to sow their time, talents, creativity and passion. In return, volunteers receive the benefits of meeting new people, helping others, gaining experience and being a part of making the Breath of Life Christian Center vision a reality.

Opportunities to serve in areas such as Clerical, Culinary, Facility Services, Broadcasting, Publishing and MIS/Digital Media will be available. We do not require a specific time commitment or require that you serve in a particular area and would appreciate any time that you have available to volunteer, whether short or long term.

Lastly, in 1 Peter 4:10 in the Contemporary English Version we hear “Each of you has been blessed with one of God’s many wonderful gifts to be used in the service of others. So use your gift well”. Therefore, let us volunteer together and use our gifts well to serve each other and build up the body of Christ.
