Highway Children’s Ministry

Highway Children’s Ministry

Highway Children’s Ministry serves 1st-5th graders, and Royal Priesthood Middle School Ministry serves youth 6th-8th grade. Both have the primary goal to promote and encourage Holiness and discourage the world’s influence over children by presenting the gospel of Jesus Christ through powerful, exciting, and creative avenues. Activities include worship, skits, videos, puppet shows, games, live Bible stories, craft projects, and more.

Our highly trained staff are dedicated to bringing all children to Christ using the proven Formula Five Method.

  • Faith: How to develop and use faith.
  • Family: How to love and respect family.
  • Favor: How to receive and walk in God’s favor.
  • Finance: How to give, receive, and spend money wisely.
  • Future: How to sow and believe for it through preparation.

We are excited to have our BOLCC Highway Children’s Ministry open. We have developed a few guidelines based on best practices from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Guidelines may change as necessary and will be communicated to parents, children, and Highway team members.

General Guidlines

  • Children and adults that enter Highway must wear a mask.
  • Children and adults must sanitize their hands upon entry into Highway.
  • Pens will be provided when signing the child in and out and will be sanitized after each person’s use.
  • Snacks will be provided to children as they leave Highway.
  • Children will be assigned a seat and number. This will make contact tracing easier if a child tests positive or is exposed to COVID-19.
  • A physical distance of at least 3 feet (or 6 feet) will be maintained between children to reduce transmission risk.
  • Temperatures will be taken when parents and children enter the main BOLCC ministry entrance.
  • If a child or adult in Highway tests positive or is exposed to COVID-19, only the individual’s status will be shared for contract tracing. BOLCC pastoral staff, BOLCC leadership, and appropriate Highway Children’s ministry team members will know the name of the child or adult. Information will be kept confidential.
